I can’t even begin how to describe how amazing the show was…the acoustic set, the electric set…they played Joe Arpaio….FUCKING JOE ARPAIO…man oh man. We met Sean and he was wicked nice. We talked to him about music and skating. His hands were soft. I said hi to Ben really quick also and briefly chatted with their touring guitarist. A great show with great friends. They didn’t do an encore, but oh well. They played some of my favorites, like Rejoice, Hate Rain On Me, Joe Arpaio, Fucc The Devil, Survival Song, Heartilation, and so many more. I love them so much.
Treasure Fleet was the first opener and I didn’t really dig them. They kinda sounded like they were trying to rip off Girls and Morning Teleportation, only very badly. Joyce Manor was the second opener and they were really good and fun. Check Joyce Manor out. Their new album just came out a few days ago and it’s pretty good.
